We are fortunate to have three lovely pubs in Wedmore all serving good food, with nice gardens for the summer months.

The Grade II listed George Inn is full of character with lovely open fires in its dining rooms and uses seasonal and local produce in it’s dishes. Tel: 01934 712124
As well as the pubs there is a family run restaurant Nanny Ida’s offering breakfast, lunch and cream teas; The Dining Room also offering cakes, light lunches and dinner and Pumpkin our local delicatessen where you can enjoy a delicious snack. Table 8 is an indian restaurant next to The George and they will deliver a takeaway too.

The Wheatsheaf Inn between Wedmore and Weare is well worth a visit serving it’s speciality home smoked recipes, it is also a nice place to enjoy a drink with it’s cosy woodburner for winter days.(10 minute drive)
The Duck at Burtle a gastro pub and Free House on the Somerset Levels serving fresh seasonal produce much of it locally sourced and happy to cater for vegetarian,vegan, dairy and gluten free customers. ( 20 minute drive )

The Ethicurean Restaurant, Wrington is tucked away in a victorian walled garden where they grow their own produce and offer informal dining with amazing views over the Somerset countryside.
