Our third stay in Wilf’s Barn and fourth in these cottages. As delightful as ever – feels like coming home. Thank you for all the welcome goodies and your perfect “hands free but available” hosting. We’ll be back again. October 2016

Superb cottage ideally situated. This is the best cottage we have stayed in, it has everything you could want and everything has been thought of. The welcome pack was perfect with fresh bread, fresh eggs from the owners as well as home-made cake! Delicious! It is very well furnished and it was refreshing to have a bed as comfy as our own at home!  The location of the cottage is also perfect to explore Cheddar and the surrounding Mendip Hills. The village of Wedmore itself is beautiful with an array of shops and three great pubs all in walking distance. If you’re looking for a perfect relaxing getaway in the countryside this is the cottage for you. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend this property. The owners were prompt and helpful throughout the booking and stay. April 2016

Really lovely place, didn’t want to leave. 2 nights wasn’t enough to explore the local area so we would love to come back. The personal touches such as the welcoming hamper was great! Thank you very much Paul and Fiona. Aug 2015

We have really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous little cottage. Wedmore is a lovely village and packed with lots of shops and places to eat. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could carry on exploring. June 2015

Lovely peaceful retreat. Would highly recommend to all – especially extra touches such as homemade bread and jam; and the surroundings. May 2015

Another wonderfully relaxing stay. Long walks with our hound plus starlings galore and a Bittern at Ham Wall. Thank you. Feb 2015

Thank you for a wonderful, cosy and comfy stay. Not only is the cottage beautiful but so is Wedmore and it’s surroundings. Our recommendations for other visitors: a meal at The Swan, a pint (or three) at The New Inn. The local shop is fab for those real ales, ciders and local produce. The Cheddar Gorge walk was demanding but well worth the trouble for that view. Feb 2015
