Brickyard Farm Cottages lie on the edge of the Somerset Levels, and close to the historic City of Wells, Cheddar and Glastonbury in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside.
Set in this peaceful west country location, Ian's Cottage and Wilf's Barn are two delightful detached barns which have been converted to provide comfort and rustic charm. Each cottage sleeps two and is an ideal base for a relaxing romantic retreat and exploring the local countryside. A cosy spot to unwind in the winter and the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and barbecue in the summer. Dogs welcome by arrangement.
Brickyard Farm Cottages are an easy 5 minute walk to the village of Wedmore and its many amenities. Wedmore is a thriving community with a good selection of shops selling local produce, clothes, shoes, antiques and gifts. There is also a delicatessen, tea rooms, a restaurant and three village pubs.
We are located close to the Mendip Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) on the edge of the Somerset Levels, well known for its National Nature Reserves which attract bird watchers from all over the world.
There are excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and riding.
Use your cottage as a base to explore Somerset and the West Country.
Based, as we are, in the heart of the West Country, there is always plenty of things happening.
Whether it's the amazing aerial performances of Starlings over the Somerset countryside or performances of the musical variety at the Glastonbury festival.
